A professional performer and director since 1998 and studied of dance, circus acrobatics and acting. She holds a Master’s degree from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts (RADA). Lu has worked for a variety of international theatrical, television and film productions.
In 2006 Lu opened Pole Dance Tokyo. As the world’s first Asian pole performer, she embarked on an international pole tour to over 15 countries between 2007 and 2010.
Her employee and client list include world champion dancers and Cirque du Soleil performers. She is a highly regarded trainer and mentors to many award-winning dancers such as Mai Sato (Cirque Du Soleil artist and World Pole Champion 2009 & 2010), Eri Kamimoto (Disabled Division winner 2010) and many more.

Mai was born and raised in Tokyo, and in 2007 she met Lu and began pole dancing. With her flexibility and a foundation in ballet, she specializes in creating performances with her elegant dancing, the beauty of her dance charms every audience.
Winner of the pole dance world championship for two consecutive years (2009 and 2010), Mai became the first Japanese aerial performer for Cirque de Soleil, performing in “ZED”, and currently “LOVE” in Las Vegas. Official website

A veteran pole dancer, Diana is one of Japan’s top instructors. Born and raised in the Eastern European country of Moldova, she has travelled worldwide, training in dance and competing in pole dance. Her credentials include a degree in Performance Art, majoring in dance choreography. She is also a licensed Pole Dance Master Instructor from London’s famed Vertical Dance Academy.

Tomo studied Jazz, Hip Hop and other street dance styles from the age of 13. Previously Tomo worked as a choreographer for Keio Dancing Crew JADE and many other Hip Hop dance teams. She has since studied pole dance under Lu at Pole Dance Tokyo and has infused her own flavour of street dance and acrobatic pole tricks.
Born and raised in Osaka prefecture, Hitomi began studying gymnastics when she was 9 years old, and continued to study Jazz dance for 10 years. She is currently a model, singer and actress, and in 2007 met Lu and began to learn pole dancing from her, finally becoming an instructor. Her favorite style is cute and sexy with high heels. Hana is one of Pole Dance Tokyo’s newest instructors. A licensed osteopathic therapist and reflexologist, her real passion is in dance. She started lessons in ballet, contemporary dance and jazz as a child in Osaka and later graduated from Takarazuka Theatre Academy, Japan’s top performance art school. Originally from Russia, living in Tokyo for the past 10 years. Christi Ray is a multi talented performer of the highest level. She is a professional dancer, a modern rhythmic gymnastic, a pole dancer, aerial performer, choreographer, and instructor. She has years of international working experiences such as boat race TV commercial, Japanese TV show Shabekuri 007, Disney sea, and has performed in the musicals Mamma Mia and Chicago.

Born and raised in Chiba, Marico has been studying ballet since she was a child. She went on to study jazz dance, hip hop and contemporary dance at the Tokyo School of Music, graduating in 2004. She has also studied dance in the USA. In 2006 she studied aerial tissu, rope, hoop, strap, harness and bungee at the aerial artist school in Tokyo. She currently works in many fields, including Tokyo Disneyland, theatre, live events, TV, media as a dancer, choreographer and instructor.
Pole Dance Tokyo’s first twin instructors Chiharu and Chikage hail from Mt Fuji prefecture, Shizuoka. They have over 10 years of training and experience in a wide range of dance styles. They are currently sought after performers in Tokyo’s most exclusive events and private parties. Instructors since 2012, they also work for a variety of shows, event, parties and media. They performed as guest dancers for Miss Pole Dance 2015 with Yoshimi Tokui, one of the most famous comedians in Japan.
Azu is originally from Miyagi prefecture and learned Jazz from early childhood along with Hip hop during high school. she then moved to Tokyo after graduating high school to learn more about dancing.
while learning various dance styles during her stay in dance academy,she was deeply moved by a aerial tissu performance and decided to join aerial training school right after graduate.
Eri started learning contortion without any experience of rhythmic gymnastics or gymnastics after at age of 20 years old, she mastered contortion skills in Mongolia and USA and currently performs at shows and event as contortionist which there is only a few in Japan.
Naru graduated from the Show Music Academy and began her career in musicals performing all over the country. Realizing the importance of using one’s body to express oneself, she studied several different dance forms and widened her performance capabilities. Currently, in addition to being a dancer, she is a trainer of gyrotonic and gyrokinesis. She teaches at gyrotonic studio ‘White Cloud Tokyo’ as well as at culture schools and at regional events.
